RIDLEY, PA. - Rescue 62 The S.M. Vauclain Fire Company located in Crum Lynne, Ridley Township is pleased to announce we have purchased a 1993 Spartan 3D Rescue Pumper.

The 1993 Spartan Motors/3D Rescue Pumper features a Hale 2000 gallon

per minute, two stage pump and a 750 gallon water tank. It has the

capability of being supplied through 1500 feet of five inch line. The Rescue

Pumper is primarily set-up as a light rescue pumper and serves as a hydrant

piece as well. It has five pre-connected attack lines with the primary size

being one and three-quarter inch. Additionally, a pre-piped deck gun is

available for use on the Rescue and has the capability of being portable.

The enclosed cab is rated for eight personnel, with sufficient

self-contained breathing apparatus to outfit seven fire fighters. The driver

has a separately supplied air system. The apparatus has a 7.5 kw generator

and a Phoenix telescoping light tower. The Rescue Pumper features Holmatro

Rescue equipment, including: SCRT-3120 combi-tool, a cutter, spreader,

airbags, and rams.

Additionally, there is wooden and molded plastic cribbing, high lift jacks,

Junk Yard Dawgs. Auxiliary equipment includes a Automatic External

Defibrillator (AED), First-Aid bag with portable oxygen, a Laptop Computer

with Holmatro VIN software,

PPV Fan, portable lights, and a variety of hand tools. The Rescue Pumper is

equipped with an on-board

twenty five gallon foam system.

As Prince George’s Busiest ALL VOLUNTEER Department with an Ambulance, this is a welcometo the members. This new unit replaces an 1990 Ford/Med-Tech Medium Duty Ambulance.

Tower 10 is a 2002 Sutphen Magnum 110’ Tower Ladder Truck. There is seating for up to 6 firefighters. On board, there is a Hale 2000 GPM pump, Hurst combo tool with portable generator, 500 gallon water tank, Cummins diesel engine, LED lighting, stokes basket with ropes, full assortment of fire and rescue tools and of course, the 110’ Tower Ladder Truck. Currently, Tower 10 is the tallest tower ladder in Northwestern Pennsylvania.

Engine 41-1 is a 2001 Pierce Dash Engine, 41-1 has a 2000gpm pump, 750 gallons of water and a 40 gallon Class A Foam system. Its remote controlled deck gun can flow in excess of 2000 per minute. A Wil-Burt light tower that extends 10 feet above the top of the apparatus. It is powered by an AMPS 10kw hydraulic generator. This vehicle primarily serves as our attack pumper and thus, has a compliment of 5" supply hose, 2" attack line and 1.5" attack line. The specialized selection of nozzles which includes smooth bore, piercing, Bresnan cellar nozzle, and various low pressure nozzles, combined with the Class A Foam system make this a formidable piece of fire fighting equipment.



1989 Emergency-One 135-Foot Ladder Truck. Hurricane chassis, Detroit 8V92 475HP engine. The truck has 169 feet of ground ladders as well as high angle and technical rescue equipment.

A 1998 Seagrave Tractor Drawn Aerial Ladder, Truck 34 is well regarded by apparatus buffs throughout the Washington DC area. Truck 34 is the result of several years of planning by our dedicated apparatus committee. The ladder truck is designed with ease of use in mind, and traditional truck company functions such as ground ladders and scene lighting are well represented on this piece of apparatus. Truck 34 is equipped with 241 feet of ground ladders, almost unheard of in today’s fire service. The truck also has a 20kw generator and 5500 watts of scene lighting. Four cord reels allow us to extend this lighting into buildings. The aerial ladder is a 250 lb. tip load all steel ladder, equipped with a ladder pipe for master stream operations. The equipment carried on Truck 34 is standard for most ladders in the area and includes four ventilation and forcible entry saws, a basic rope rescue compliment, air and electrically powered rescue saws, and porta-powers.



Built by KME in Nesquehoning, PA and sold by Skip Stinger of J.B. Hunt. The engine was placed into service August 1997. The engine is built on a Renegade Excel tilt cab and is powered by a Cummins 400 Diesel engine with a Jacobs brake. Engine/Tanker 2111 is a dual-purpose truck functioning as an engine company and a tanker. It carries 2800 gallons of water, 50 gallons of 1% foam, and has a 1500GPM single stage Hale Q-Max pump. Hose loads consist of 200’ of 1", 600’ of 1 3/4", 200’ of 2", 500’ of 2 1/2", 400’ of 3", and 1000’ of 5" hose. The engine carries the NFPA compliment of ground ladders and a 3000 gallon porta-pond, and other engine company equipment. The engine is used primarily as a supply pumper.



Truck 19 is a 2005 Seagrave 100’ Force Aerial with a 500lbs tip load. The extended cab features barrier doors and seating for 8 firefighters. Truck 19 has a Detroit Series 60 515HP diesel engine, Allison 4000 EVS transmission, Pre-piped water way, Harrison 15KW generator, Six 650 watt truck mounted spot lights, 4 Speaker 9700 series HID spot lights, 240’ of ground ladders, Junkin model rescue basket, 4 circular saws, 2 chain saws, PPV fans, 5 sets of Irons, Rabbit tool, numerous pike poles, roof hooks, eck hooks and dry wall rakes.



Engine 53 is a 2001 E-One Pumper Rescue that seats 6 firefighters. Engine 53 has a 1500 gpm pump, a 750 gallon water tank, 1800’ of 5 inch supply line, and 600’ of 3" supply line. The various attack lines on the engine include 2 200’ 1 ¾" lines, and 200’ of 2 ½" line. Also on the engine is a Blitz Fire portable deck gun. Engine 53 also carries a Bullard thermal imaging camera, a multi-gas detector, a CO meter, a K-700 Partner saw with metal blade, an Echo Quikie Vent saw, 2 Glas Masters, 2 Sawzalls, a full compliment of forcible entry tools, full structural fire fighting equipment, full EMS O2 equipment, and an AED. Engine 53’s Hurst tools include a Maverick combination tool mounted on the front bumper, a 32" spreader, X-tool combination, 2 rams, and a portable Hurst motor. Three of these Hurst tools are pre-connected.
