The FIRST STATE FOOLS Pumper Pull 2010 is brought to you by FIRST STATE FOOLS.
The contest challenges five-person teams to use their strength and agility to pull a fire engine a designated distance (25 FEET) for time during two separate heats. The team with the fastest total time will be awarded $25 Visa gift cards. Other awards and prizes award to the 2nd and 3rd place finishers.
The Pumper Pull is open to any group. First State FOOLS Pumper Pull 2010 spectators are invited to watch and cheer on their favorite team free of charge. Vendors will be on sit with various food and drinks for sale.

PUMPER PULL RULES
• Teams must consist of five individuals. Teams may be unisex.
• Teams will pull a fire engine a designated distance (25 feet) for time. Fastest team
time determines advancement and placement.
• Team members can use the Pumper Pull t-shirts handed out at registration.
Participants may wear gloves if they so choose.
• Each team member must check in the day of the event between 2pm – 2:30pm at the
registration tent onsite. Each team member will receive a commemorative FIRST
STATE FOOLS Pumper Pull T-shirt at check-in.
• Mandatory rules meeting at 2:30 pm prior to the start of the competition.
All team members must be present for the meeting.
• Pull Competition will commence at 3pm sharp on July 17th, 2010.
ENTRY FORM INSTRUCTIONS
• Each team must name one Team Captain. The Team Captain will identify teams. The
Team Captain should submit one registration form for the entire team. Each team
member must sign the “GENERAL RELEASE OF LIABILITY” form prior to participating
in the fundraising event.
• The team fee for entering the FIRST STATE FOOLS Pumper Pull 2010 is $100.00.
Registration forms must include payment at time they are submitted. The deadline for
pre-registration is July 1st, 2010. Registration will be limited to the first 30 teams
that submit registration form and full payment.
• Registrations received after July 1st, 2010, must include a $10 late fee ($110.00
in total). Late registrations will be accepted until 1pm on the day of the event.
• If paying by check, MAKE CHECKS PAYABLE TO: FIRST STATE FOOLS.

A $100 registration fee must be included with all registrations received. All registrations must include the General Release of Liability, which is to be signed by all five team members prior to participating in this event.

The deadline for pre-registration is July 1st, 2010.
Registrations received after July 1st, 2010 must include $10 late fee (total $110). No refunds will be issued after July 9th, 2010.

In consideration for granting permission to participate in the First State FOOLS Pumper Pull 2010 hosted by the local chapter of FOOLS International on July 17th , 2010, the undersigned, on behalf of the undersigned and all heirs, successors, executors,
administrators and assigns, hereby fully releases, discharges and holds harmless each and all agencies, corporations and sponsors involved in any way in the aforesaid First State FOOLS Pumper Pull 2010 including their members, sponsors, associates and staff from any and all claims, actions, and liabilities which said undersigned and/or any successors may now have or which may accrue to any of the aforementioned by reason of the undersigned’s voluntary participation in any of the activities and events relating to the First State FOOLS Pumper Pull 2010.
The undersigned agrees that prior to participating, he/she will inspect the facilities and equipment to be used and acknowledges hereby that he/she understands that each participant must be physically able to perform and will be engaging in activities that involve risk of serious injury, including permanent disability and death, and severe social and economic losses which might result not only from the actions or inaction of the participant, but also from the intentional or negligent acts of others, from the rules of fair play and their application, from the condition of the premises and/or equipment, and from other causes now unknown or not now reasonably foreseeable. The undersigned acknowledges that he/she executes this “General Release of Liability” freely and voluntarily and does not rely on any inducements, promises or representatives made by the aforementioned organizations or individuals involved in the First State FOOLS Pumper Pull 2010, or of any person associated in any way therewith. The undersigned agrees to abide by all the rules and regulations of the First State FOOLS Pumper Pull 2010. Undersigned agrees to refrain from unsportsmanlike conduct or any conduct bringing discredit upon the represented and/or fire fighting professions or the First State FOOLS Pumper Pull 2010. Undersigned agrees any physical or verbal assaults on officials, competitors, spectators, coordinators; committee members and their volunteers or ex-officio will meet with expulsion from the First State FOOLS Pumper Pull 2010, and any criminal or civil action against the undersigned, which is appropriate. Additionally, undersigned hereby gives consent to be filmed, photographed or interviewed as a First State FOOLS Pumper Pull 2010 participant.
